The range started with reusable sanitary pads and washable panty liners in 2014. Helen then realised that there was a gap in the market for reusable period knickers in the UK.
So in 2017, we launched the Cheeky Pants range of reusable period pants. Their moisture wicking properties and high absorbency has made them a hit with customers who regularly call them 'game-changing'.

The range has expanded as customers asked for more styles of period pants. The high waisted versions were followed by period pants for teens and tweens and a very popular period thong.
We also developed our sleep shorts which are absorbent pyjama shorts, meaning that you're guaranteed a good nights sleep, even on your period!
Our period knickers hold between two tampons worth of blood and four tampons worth. This means you can wear by themselves for regular or lighter days, or as a extra protection and back up to menstrual cups, reusable sanitary towels or panty liners. For heavy flow, look for our heavy flow options.

If you're unsure how to wash a pair of period pants, it's actually really simple. Soaking in cold water beforehand is optional but does help minimise staining. For lightly soiled pants, just chuck them straight in the wash. If your pants are particularly heavily soiled, a quick hand wash first, then squirt with stain remover and cold water wash in the washing machine when you're next washing your clothing.
Water temperature setting is important when you're washing period pants or reusable sanitary pads, hot water will 'set' any blood stains, so 30c or lower is recommended. We don't recommend a rapid or quick wash cycle, use a decent length of wash cycle (at least an hour). Your standard laundry detergent will be fine, we use a standard bio powder here.
